FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING BY KRISHNA KOTECHA
What is public speaking? Many of us does not know the meaning of public speaking. At the simplest, public speaking is a technique or a method by which you can put your ideologies and perspectives in front of the whole audience. Readers may get a question that why is public speaking crucial? But let me tell you that public speaking is very crucial in bisnuess, education and public arena. With the help of it , you can create connections with your audience, motivate them. On a bisnuess ground, to get over your clints trust , you have to put your ideas and explain your perspective to them. To do so, you have to be a good speaker.
Every good thing has many pros! Public speaking also helps you in your career. Being a good speaker is the most valuable in the job world. Public speaking also boosts your confidence , also helps in personal development. It also improves your communication skills. Also, it helps in boosting your critical thinking and also makes your though careful as you have to put your ideas without hurting the audience's sentiments.
But, I have often noticed that there is a fear of speaking in front of crowd in many people. Scientifically, this anxiety is known as Glossophobia in which whenever you get indulge into such public speaking your hands started shaking and your voice started quivering. Due to this , such fear results in being apathetic in speaking publically.
But everything has a solution,here also there are many ways you can overcome your fear. Try to take it as a challenge, target yourself to overcome which will give you that confidence to face people. Try to be determined , and practice more and more before your speech. Always try to speak in front of the mirror ,which will again help you to know your flaws. Keep yourself subtle, because body language plays a crucial role in any public speaking. Try to be organized.
With all these points you can also be a good speaker but remember, you should also be a good listener because a good listener is always a good speaker.
